All photo sessions include the following:
- shooting time in studio or on location (within 20 miles of my home)
- 25-40 high resolution edited digital negatives on a CD
- a copyright release
- personal online album to view photos/place print orders at SmugMug.com
Newborn Session - $350
A must for any new baby! Newborn sessions are best done when the baby is about a week old and is still very sleepy and flexible. Don’t worry, I know you will be sleep deprived:) This stage is very short and the window for the “sleepy baby photographs” closes quickly. This session is for the newborn baby and parents only. Additional children are $25 each. This session will last about 90 minutes. Newborns are best photographed with no clothing, so no need to bring all of those cute new outfits! Don’t worry if they pee - they will! Schedule your newborn session when you are still pregnant - the earlier the better:)
Things to consider:
- If your baby takes a pacifier, be sure to bring one
- Extra wipes and diapers
- Bring any baby hats, or props that you would like to try - I am up for anything!
- Bring a few blankets - texture and patterns are my favorite
- Make sure to have your hands and nails looking nice as your hands will most likely be in some photographs. Have your rings cleaned too!
- Please allow up to 2 weeks for your images to be ready
Child Session - $325
Child Sessions are for up to 3 people. Additional siblings/adults are $25 each. The session will last up to one hour. The best ages to photograph your children are:
6 months - or when they are sitting independently
9 months - or when they can stand holding onto a chair, but not yet walk away:)
1 year - their first big milestone and their personalities are beginning to take shape.
After that, any age is great.
Things to consider:
- For fun shots at the one year old session, have a cake made at your local bakery and bring it in for some fun photos! We will let them dig in and get messy:)
- I have lots of headbands, hats and ties to use for props, but please feel free to bring things from home.
- Please be extra sensitive to schedule your session around nap time/eating times. Hungry and tired babies will not cooperate no matter what we do. If your child is sick, please call me to reschedule as soon as you can.
- Plan to bring 2-3 outfits (we will start with your favorite and then move on)
- Pack a snack/drink or special treat to help motivate them to cooperate
- If you child has a favorite toy or stuffed animal, please bring that along
- Please allow up to 2 weeks for your images to be ready
